IN THIS EPISODE WE SAVE ANOTHER RARE RC, A TIRED AND BEAT DOWN ORIGINAL 91' TAMIYA TOYOTA CELICA GT-FOUR RALLY THAT WAS RELEASED 32 YEARS TO THE DAY. TAMIYA WOULD RELEASE THIS IN THE SUMMER OF 91' JULY 30TH TO BE EXACT, AND THIS WOULD BE THE FIRST TIME ON KZread WHERE A COMPLETE RESTORE AND RUN AND UPLOAD OF THIS LEGEND WOULD EVER BE DONE TO CELEBRATE ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVES BY TAMIYA. I love that you painted the red and didn't use the decals. I should have done that on my TT-O2R it always looks way better. Fun rebuild Luke. Good job!

You know half way through this build man I was looking at those stickers/decals thinking “Luke you could have so much more couch time”. 🤣 I could just hear the die hard Tamiya fans telling me I should have painted it. It looks great Luke! Everything cleaned up super well and the paint work and everything turned out really nice. I did gasp when I saw it all wet in the parking lot though. I thought "He had it so perfectly clean and perfect and he ran it through water!?!?!" but I know you cleaned it all back up well afterwards. Great work and looking forward to see the other projects in the pipeline as well!

Hey there Addam, honestly didn’t really think about this until starting driving, Kinda imagined Carlos Sainz behind the wheel rallying through rough times lol! I still get messages telling I’m crazy for taking rare car’s trucks to beach lol! You know I’m 12 right just Looking like a half century guy. No worries daughter gets all the clean up post video duties. At a cost though lol! Its looking spotless on the shelf in the studio now. Thanks again I’m actually looking forward what you will do especially lunchbox related.😉

Great resto as always. S So you cleaned up the hardware and then added Lubricant? Can you tell me more as it looked like mostly screws and I always like to get more tips 👍🏻
