Don Johnson with the pack of smokes in his pocket. That takes me back to when I was a kid. Half the older bowlers smoked, and the old manual scoring desk had ash trays on both sides of it.

You are correct. Sadly, Don died of a heart attack.

Wasn't this the same center that hosted the final ABC Sports PBA telecast 6 years later?

Yes it is. I was there for both telecasts. Very emotional in '97

Did Don Johnson compete in many Senior Tour events? (I know he went into teaching/coaching after his PBA tour days . . . with Randy Pedersen as one of his pupils)
