Agree 1000%!
I don't think a Malibu has ever made it to first "tune-up". They all broke down near auto-wrecking yards apparently.

My first girlfriend had a Malibu and it was brutal for breakdowns!

I’m pretty sure that Toyota Camry ad is from the 80’s because I’ve never seen the “Toyota Quality” slogan be used beyond 1989

It could very well be a 1989 camery ad! It was buried in with some 90s programming so it could be “next years model” style advertising

Does anyone remember the savage commercial? I think it was for savage Honda or maybe Hyundai? It was a bunch of people singing a song and was hilarious. Can’t find it anywhere

I wonder if someone would help me. The commercial I am looking for was loved by me so much that I recorded it on VHS back in the early nineties. I can't remember the make/model but the car was driving in the rain thru a city and it was nighttime I believe and the road had maybe a millimeter of rain on its surface. The sound was kind of odd, not really music. Sort of deep and epic I guess? I can't find the tape and I have been searching for the commercial for years. Would be 1992 ish. Maybe 93.
