Even today, this is the only Vauxhall I'd be happy to be seen in.

Bought my first one in 1997 after trading in my Cavie on November 5th and pulled away from the shop around 6.55pm never forgot feeling the pull as I put my foot down, pure happiness at 24 years old, I've had even better cars since and never felt the same

i have own two Calibra ive got to say best car ive ever had not once has mine ever let me down, runs sweet as, i still drive mine to this day and will keep my baby going till the end

i still have my.96 calibra. of all the cars i've had, i can't bring myself to sell this baby. i just look at her shape again taking photos so i can sell her.... and i fall back in love

When Top gear was a car show and not a pantomime :). But love the distinctive noise the Vauxhall "redtop" engines make, even in standard form =)

When TV was actually an education

The 16v would do 140mph and was quick on acceleration at the time as quick as the 2.5 litre Cougar. Handling was Vauxhall Cavalier which is what put me off owning one. Astra GTE 16v was better handling and faster.

Old top gear was better. Now top gear is gone shit and too much talking make people laugh I don't watch top gear anymore
