I was there actually. Franklin, as great as they were, had a technical deduction which, after all was said and done, put them in 2nd. The deduction occurred at the conclusion of the synchronized full twisting layout tumbling pass, where one of the athletes stepped out of bounds/mat after landing. The following year, the athletes used the same synchronized tumbling pass, but this time on a diagonal. Cheers!
