The rear suspension was completely stock except for a spohn torque arm. Front had lakewood 90/10 struts and drag springs.

Haha, I never noticed it looked like a hardtop in this video. It's a T-top car. I found an old set of factory Lexan tops that hadn't been recalled. They are lighter than the glass ones, but hard to find.

It has a Dana 44 rear. (These are rare as hen's teeth, but there are some factory ones out there)

@chrishasty1444 wow how did you find a Dana 44 out there? Thought they were only found on those "unicorns" 91-92 formula firehawks... Great find though! Those Aussie 9 bolt rear ends wouldn't be able to hold to that kind of launch...iron cones would go poof and turn to dust!

@@eurocarpleurocarpl2057 Thanks I'm looking for a TTA that I plan to tweak so at least I know what I have to do. A friend of mine put a 400 small block in an IROC the first time he launched it he hurt a large cracking sound that was the frame bending. He had to pull the motor and trans out and scrap the body

They're Diamond pistons.

Diamond Pistons, and 210/215 full throttle speed cam. Stock rotating assembly otherwise. Stock intake, rockers, throttle body, etc.

Stock heads?

They were hand ported

The heads on these cars were different from the turbo regals. They are actually better then what came on the TR.

@grn61 yes I know. 3.1 fwd heads. I've owned a TTA for 21 years. Mine runs 10.2s on a 6157e turbo and full weight stock wheels

I got a 70gtq need a brake bad

What turbo ? I got a 212 212 cam 20 over je pistons all steel mains girdle with a 70gtq trying to bust the 9,s on stock heads

A 70gtq is easily enough turbo to go 9's. I'd say the newer billet 67's would easily go mid to high 9's.

It's a 3.8 Buick V6. It's the original engine for the car, similar to a Grand National.
