@@nathanmcdonald610 Retired Bigfoot driver Lonny Childress is the current owner. He and his brother own a shop near St. Louis that specializes in classic Mustangs, and they're working in restoring it in their spare time. It's planned to look like it did circa 1992, when Childress drove it, which is probably the best way to do it, as there's little of the original configuration left because of all the extensive changes to it over the decades that it was such a workhorse for the team.

While Bigfoot #5 ran in mud bogs & crushed some cars, this was probably the hardest it ever ran in competition. Also, Dan Dubs must be Jack Willman's long lost twin!

@wdsr5 Well, It was another '74 Ford, but Bob changed the sheet metal over the years. Also IV started life with V's 10' tires in 1984 then by 1990, they put the 66'' tires on and it still had leaf springs on, but 2 nitro shocks on the rear. Some evolution, huh?

@wildfootfan94 I don't know. I tried to upload it on a disk with other events so I could fill the disk time. Maybe I shouldn't have. This Pt 2 is pretty good, though. Any Idea if it can be synced properly? Glad you enjoyed it, though.

@wildfootfan94 If you go to the Bigfoot 4x4 Facebook page they also have this on here, and it's in sync a bit better. That's just kind of how these old programs were for some of the time.

Once they went full tube chassis. that was the end of real monster trucks. wish somebody would come out with a classic monster truck class where there are rules stating you have to use a factory truck body with its full factory interior. like the generation that was before Bigfoot 8. of course you must run a cage for safety reasons. plus bring back the long drag races with long lines of cars.

In my opinion, the most exciting they ever were was the end of the "stage 2" trucks around 1990, albeit not the prettiest, which was a few years earlier. The dunebuggy style tube trucks are quite capable, but they aren't trucks. They are dunebuggies with panels hanging on them.

#2 ran a 79 body for several years. Ford (a huge sponsor at the time) wanted Bob to have almost all the trucks run late-model sheet metal.
