1:00 Man I was thinking the exact same thing, no way that both pumps are completely dead. 1987 f150 5.0, I tested everything right up to sending straight power to the pumps, and yep they are dead! Great video

You what to be able to go all over the farm and not worry bout being stuck, go for a true poise track rear end. Better than 4wheel drive

I just acquired a 1989 Ford F250 4x4 Custom truck that was last registered in the year 2000. It sat in a barn for that past 22 years. It only has 40,000 miles on the odometer. The previous owner says the miles are correct. The truck is a time capsule - in almost perfect shape. It was stored in West Texas - very dry climate. I put tires on it and rolled it onto the car hauler. Before attempting to start it I changed the oil, plugs, battery, added coolant. I put 2.5 gallons of gas in the front tank It turns over quickly, but won't start. I sprayed starter fluid up the air filter hoses and tried to start it. The truck came to life and ran smooth on the starter fluid, but wouldn't stay running. I have a gas problem. What do you recommend I do/replace first? Thanks

right on man sounds like a great find! I would disconnect the fuel line before the high pressure pump, turn the key on and check for fuel there, then after the high pressure pump, then at the rail first. This will check the low pressure pump, high pressure, pump, and fuel filter in that order. good starting point

Lol if you can’t figure out where the wires are I don’t think you need to be working on it then! If you wasted time watching you also wasted time typing the comment 👌🏼
