The Miami Dolphins defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17-14 in this week 9 game from 1988 played at Tampa Stadium. Miami leads after three quarters 17-0 and hangs on to win. Miami kicker Tony Franklin - filling in for the injured Fuad Reveiz - misses 3 of 4 field goal attempts, while veteran QB Joe Ferguson formerly of the Buffalo Bills nearly brings the Bucs back. WR Mark Clayton catches two TDs from Dan Marino. Rick Weaver and Hank Goldberg provide the radio call.

    Fins nearly blew a 17-point 4th quarter lead after they did blow one to the Bucs in the previous meeting, but won that one too.

    I had the Monday Miami Herald Paper, on the sports page was a full size picture of Clayton Dunking on the goal post

    Who were the announcers? I assume John Bosa got in the game.

    Rick Weaver and Hank Goldberg were the announcers. If memory serves, I think Bosa was injured in the San Diego game two weeks earlier, ending his career. A lot of people don't remember Bosa was a very good player, but had multiple injuries that ruined his career.
