Randy Pedersen was underrated as a pro. 16 PBA Titles, 1 major (PBA) and should have had at least two more majors. That's a great career.
Brian Voss puts a tremendous amount of roll on the ball.
Roth and Amletto Monacelli were 2 of my favorite bowlers to watch growing up. I always tried to emulate them how they hit the ball on the bottom of the upswing. They both display almost perfect balance at the line, you never see either bowler lift their head during the upswing

It's amazing how Ameleto has maintained his game. Shoulder, back or knee injuries with that style are common. Good genes I guess.
Love me some Brian Voss. My all-time fave bowler.

I hate his style... It just looks so strange.
Voss is Boss. B.V. Actually took that loop out his swing. Made him much better It was a crazy loop in the swing
Roth and Voss are style bookends. Brian is a classic and Mark is an original.
Brian Voss's style has not changed one bit. He's 60 now.
great recording for 1988
Going to win a lot of tournaments averaging 247! Great Bowler!
Actually Bo, during this telecast, Mark Roth used a 7-step approach.
Voss is 4step classic style ...amatuar stroker player learn his consistency Love this video a lot
Chris Shenkel is a true pro.
Brian Voss and Mark Roth have bowled some exciting matches
Tbe thing thst made schenkal so awesome was he never said loser if you finished second it was always runner up
Voss' game barely changed at all throughout his entire career
Roth , famous flintstone -favored 7 -step Power punching approach.. luv it . Was my favorite bowler.
7 years later Charlie Standish shot 3 perfect games in a 6 game block at this place. Nice carry here...
Back when the PBA was presented classy, and performed classy.

skittlecar1 Classy is boring and doesn’t attract the demographics the advertisers want. The advertisers are the ones demanding more excitement to attract the prized younger audience.

@skittlecar1. I agree with your first comment. The PBA was classy and the commentators were classy back then. The fans were showed more respect for the bowlers than they do now. I totally disagree with Douglas Harris.

Great bowling by Brian Voss. It is not easy winning 4 matches. Voss ended up being married with two sons. He became a super dad flying home often to be with the family during his off days. Ended up being enshrined in the Bowling Hall of Fame.

Brian Voss was an awesome husband and father. I saw his wife and sons that were in attendance when he was bowling. His wife was beautiful and his sons were very cute. Of course, his sons took after their dad's good looks.
Spoiler Alert. Please watch all of the matches before you read the comments. Have a Nice day.😊

It's so damn awkward the way they stand there at the very beginning and smile couldn't they have just put a still picture of them with their name on the screen?? lol
It's funny how Bo Burton was beefing up Scott Devers and he got his ass kicked like people were saying . lol
