What a year Voss had in 1988!!!
Man i wish they'd used camera angles that showed the ball motion better. Never would have realized they were bending it so much back then on 46' of oil with urethane.
Taking a wild guess that Sliker lost....

SLIKER was the BIGGEST CHOKER ON THE PBA TOUR!! HE REALLY SUCKED!! I could have beaten him for money!! Lol 😂
1:08:53 Bo again hyping someone with disastrous results....🤣
Mark Williams puts a tremendous amount of roll on the ball.

6'1" 190 lbs, very athletic and tremendous technique. The guy was a machine.
Why did Schenkel always call Voss “dashing”

@James Satchwill Yeah. That's because back then, the commentators didn't have to worry about being politically correct. They were free to say what they wanted to without some nut complaining.

@Thomas McCarrick. I really appreciate you giving the final scores because sometimes I miss them when I'm watching the games.
Slikers ball wasn't even like breaking towards the pocket....it was just skidding down the lane like a small gal threw it. Lol
This dude Gil sliker was the worst for the butter. If you could have bet on bowling I would have bet my house against him on any show. Idk how he led. Good thing he retired. He threw it awful. 28 times on a show and no singles titles. Terrible
That’s why this guy never won a singles title. He can’t even get a 5 pin out. He only led Because on night blocks the lanes are dry so he can get a 5 pin out. Pros should never leave a 5-7 let alone 2 frames in a row. Awful just god awful I think he forgets his fingers in the ball return every frame
