During the mid 1980's Friday Night Videos began using celebrity guest hosts for some of it's programs. Since 'The Cosby Show' was the #1 draw for NBC prime time at this point Lisa Bonet and Malcolm Jama Warner hosted this episode of the show entitled 'All Time Greatest Party Videos'. Instead of including the show,which was only partly recorded I chose to link their segments together myself in this case.

Friday Night videos wow, takes me back.
That had to be the second time they hosted. The episode I remember included discussions about their "Cosby Show" auditions, Run-DMC stopping by and "Maljam," as Lisa called him, doing a Cosby face.
I’m a 90s kid but part of me wishes we still had this sort of vibe going on. I loved going home and watching mtv or 106 for music videos and catching the latest celebs. One of the reasons I’m not a fan of streaming. Tv use to be so fun lol
