Probably one of the most memorable races of this time. RIP Kenny.

Ken, was a great rider and a nice guy, he was a natural and motor cycling was in his blood. I remember his first production racing at Lydon Hill on his RD400,they made him wear a flourescent Novice jacket - he won almost every race that day - haha.

Irons riding a fucking pogo stick for the last 3 laps there. What a loss he was!

Kenny Irons was a massive loss. You see it here. Big lead suddenly lost to a better handling bike, but he rode through the twitches and bumps. One of my favourite races captured by camera.

What race indeed to watch from the first lap the late 'Kenny Irons' takes the lead by a wide margin as one of the most unrated riders of this era 'Richard Scott (NZ) was the only one to dare try n challenge him as they both to dice for the lead.

That’s when I fell out of love with British road racing. For me, street bikes belonged on the streets. Way preferred the days when full factory teams used to turn up with their exotic GP bikes for things like the world of sport super bike challenges.

Marshalls bike is an RG500 which would blow the 750 stockers out the water :)
