Wow. It's like I'm twelve and up all night, waiting for the next tipanny to watch the numbers turn. Loved it when Sam would just show up at 3 AM, after his set at the Sands or somewhere, and come on unannounced. I loved that stuff.
Lewis and Davis make a AWESOME singing pair!
JERRY LEWIS & SAMMY DAVIS JR. BFF'S FOREVER
My Brother was in the chorus.
There I am on the front row ugly as sin . A young sgt. You can't miss me.. My unit was the Air Cav the red and white background.. I wish I could remember him but is was a part time chip and dale dancer in the local clubs .. He drove a tan Chevy 4x4 .. He himself is also on the front row... good friend of mine.. I was in love with his truck..
That's My Big Brother in the front row with the 82nd Airborne Chorus !! He had a few close-ups on the second song.
God bless you Jerry it will ALWAYS be your telethon

Hey Glenn, I know it's not that big of a deal. This is David Miller, on the front row with the bass section. Good to see that you seem to be in good spirts.. Just like the way I remember you... I was in the red chorus which was 100 times better sounding then the blue chorus.. Well Airborne all the way and then some.....

We were fantastic
/me sighs... I miss quality TV.
One of my favorite moments from the MDA Telethon is George Burns singing "Day Tripper." I can't remember whether this was in the '70s, '80s, or '90s, but -- if you have it, can you post it? It's a great moment!
