My dad died when i was 11 years old, but i had an old bike and did a paper round earning the princely sum of £2 per week and i desperately wanted a new racing bike , My mum saved my money and added a little i think and aged 13.5 i managed to get a brand new on in a local shop cost £47 , a few months later me and a friend cycled to Skegness which was 80 miles away for a weeks camping holiday, we took the tent and everything with us , i had the bike until i passed my driving test aged 17 , did a lot of miles on the Raleigh bike , GREAT MEMORIES
