I think the thing is, this mod doesn't simulate that in 1984 both sides don't want to win, they want the war to go on forever because that eats up the surplus product and allows them to stay in power.

They should really make an incentive to keep all of the powers that be around until certain requirements are met. The wars of 1984 had no outward goal, rather the inward goal of keeping the people under control. And maybe a couple of snap decisions to make peace with one power and declare war on another.

It should be based around stability and war support. If the nation isn't in a war with a major the support will drop immensely and stability will begin to tick down. Perhaps it could also start triggering resistance in states that will keep going up regardless of occupation laws unless you sort out the stability.

@@OnlyGrafting yeah it would make sence for Oceania to not have cores in South America and Africa, Eurasia in Europe and Eastasia in Central Asia and Indochina so that if stability and war suport gets too low there would be rebelions there

the brotherhood actually holds territory at the very south of the map, i beleive the island is called kerlugen, although they have like 20 super heavy tank divisions with thousands of defense so it will be very hard to capitulate them

It's kind of silly to make a mod for 1984 that works like any other hoi4 game. It should have a system where defeats and losing men causes stability and war support to tank, while killing enemies boosts you, but occupying the core territory of other Great Powers causes huge resistance, war support/stability debuffs and political power drain, as per the book. War should slowly devastate the world, causing the apocalypse. The goal of the game should be raking up glory points though conquest, but not winning outright, and lasting in power as long as possible, before the war destroys the world.

They are 5 OP Tank Divisions. It's meant so if you find it and naval invade you can't land. There are also level 10 forts and coastal forts on the island.

@Traitor Guardsman Free Nations could be fun just because of the challenge... try to free all of the nations of the world and restore some form of democracy... or communism... or absolute monarchism... or even fascism... literally anything that isn't INGSOC and Co, who seem to be less free than literally every totalitarian regime to have ever existed IRL. I imagine regardless of the ideology choice it would be ridiculously challenging given how much more powerful the big three totalitarian regimes are relative to the Free Nations.🤣
