....congrats n thanks, " doordarshan ", for these conversation between these two legends usuf saab n noor jehan...nostalgic golden era memories n yet so natural n beauty in language...he takes time to listen n speak with expression....New generations still needs to 'observe' this legends n 'digest ' something n deliver.... hatsoff...🙏....

Well this was emotional! The unconditional love, respect, admiration that each of these ladies have for their mother, legendary Noor Jehan literally had me bawling.. my father used to rave about Noor Jehan's singing and as a child I didn't appreciate her music..now it's a different story. I never knew what an awesome person she was..the most important one of all she was such a wonderful parent. Every human being deserves to have a mother like Noor Jehan. May she rest in peace..

Singh bhai sacch kaha aapne. Laikin hindustan bade saamp hain. Jo bahuth Hindu Muslim nifrath phailaatein hain. Ek aapko namoona bataatee hoon. App is aadmi ki bol aur likath me zaher bhara huwa hai. Konraad ellst. Aap es ko sunee ya badhein to gab aapkoo pata chale gaa. Yeh aadmi gab bhi moon kholta hai musalmanoo ke burai karta aur Hindu ko bhadkata hai.

Yes. He speaks English, Urdu and Punjabi so eloquently. Pakistani Punjabi language has some influence of Urdu. I've learned Urdu from a Priest in London and love it. I agree Indian Punjabis should make their language a little more soft.

Good memories of the golden days gone by...interesting to listen about their hey days. Dil hi dil mein sulag ke bujhe ham aur sahe ham door hi door se...beautiful song. Had never heard it before. Comparison to music today is so apt..earlier raags needed sukoon thairav and now music is fast..

There is a name which comes at the end - Meena Vaishnavi. Obviously she is the maker of this programme and is the one who has brought these stalwarts together, which in those days was considered a major scoop. Why has Prasar Bharati's logo been put over her name? Couldn't it have been put on the side? In fact Prasar Bharati did not even exist then. I think credit should be given where it is due. Most unfair that this programme is proudly presented, but the person who created this opportunity for you, is not acknowledged. Sad state of affairs!!!!!
