I liked these as well. Remember seeing this occasionally in the 80's all be it a rather rare motorcar! They were cramped but really stood out!

The Excalibur was never a kit. There are a lot of kit cars imitating them and the Mercedes it is influenced by. There are quite a few half built kits in garages. The hunt is part of the fun!!! Good luck and keep us informed when you find that special ride!

@@carshowreporter when I wrote "like this" I meant it as "similar to this vehicle" not that this vehicle was a kit car. I see now how there could be confusion. Sadly, the next $40,000-ish of discretionary money is already earmarked in the budget. So it'll be awhile before enough money is freed up to even begin car shopping. 😉

@@pauld6967 You are talking about something grand, like an Ex or other neo-classics. A kit car, based on a Pinto ( I am not a fan of VW power. It does not sit in the right position and sounds out of place, pun intended! ) is well under 10K. More in the couple of grand range. See how easy it is for me to spend your money on cars??!!!!!!
