That sure is a nice looking Nash Healey. In the early 60s a fellow raced a dark blue one on the old Vineland Speedway road course. I don't remember what class he was in or even how competitive, but it was so distinct back then that I can still picture it. It was the days of " run what you brung". 😀

It had a good pedigree and there were many low production sports cars in the 50's and early 60's. Look at the Elva, TVR, Cooper, OSCA, etc... You were very lucky to see such a rare car race!!

Have to hand it to Pininfarina here for capturing the essence of the Nash Ambassador perfectly in a sports car....and again with the 4 door Farina Nash Speciale Ambassador.

Ah, shades of Clark Kent! Somehow he afforded one on a reporter's salary. Generally, I prefer sports cars in lighter colors, but this one is stunning. Great "get," girl!

Yup ...''Mild Mannered'' newspaper reporter (a what?) blends in with one of the rarest sports cars ever produced...last seen careering around Sunset Boulevard turning into Lois Lane. Wha?
