Yep used to be able park right outside on Baker Street station and go to the cinema (now a spoons).

I wasnt born then but London through these archival vids felt like it had character. Nowadays i'd be lucky to leave london alive without getting stabbed or crammed in with 1000s of strangers in a carrage.

Night life isn't the same and less third spaces to organically meet people e.g. Less Pubs, More private members clubs etc
