@@parwaz7861 I certainly did😁 And it's no problem👍
the 1980 was my first Henry then the 160
Nice find
I think it might be dodgy wiring as the cable and plug has been changed but apart from that it’s pretty cool
Nicee
Hopefully James will start to work
When you do your mess tests do you use bags everytime? Just purchased a new hetty and wondering if I dare risk without a bag (for ease of emptying)

I either I use it bagless which isn’t recommended as the motor can get damaged by the dust or just vacuum the bag out

Bagless numatics are a crime unless it's being used in wet mode.

Hey. I know this is a long shot and I'm not even sure how it would work but I am looking to get a Henry and here in the US they are so much money. Would you be interested in selling and shipping a Henry? Or would that still cost to much money? Here in the US they are about $300.

The cable on this one has been replaced, the original would have been a lot longer. However, the new Henry's are redesigned from the one in the video, and have a very long cable.
Wow, that must be one of the original Henry's from when they came out. Bet you're made up with your find aren't you pal? Hopefully just a new cable is needed to get him going, but other things it could be, are a blown fuse in the plug, worn out Carbon brushes, the suppressor could have blown and need removing, a faulty on/off switch, or the worst case scenario and unlikely is the motor itself is locked up, but thankfully motors for Henry's are widely available. Hope you manage to get this Henry back up and running soon and look forward to see the video when you do 👍

Thanks! I really hope it’s just the cable, I think maybe someone was trying to fit a new cable and didn’t know how to fit it properly Either way I love it, it’ll clean up nicely and look gleaming 😋

@@parwaz7861 I think it's amazing that most of the 10 million Henry's made from the 80's to the present year are all still running, a testament to Numatic's great quality 👌
even the 90s henrys have supressors. i dont really know if the supressors on henrys explode that often. might be that check inside

Even modern Henrys have them, they're on the cable rewind moulding

@@RJA_World its me just on a different account but yeah i forgot that they do. i havent ever really worked on a modern numatic vacuum but its stupid if its anything like the ones known to explode. they might be different but still they arent needed

@@leesvacs3827 Yeah I don't know if they're lethal like the old ones but I agree still pointless these days.

The suppressor was installed on the modern Henry's for a reason. They should be left, unless they are showing signs of failure, ie hairline cracking on the suppressors casing.
even if the supressor has not blown please remove it if you can
Are you fixing?
The eyes have been put on the back and look funny cross eyed
