We're looking at a 1979 Plymouth Volare Road Runner in Spit Fire Orange Paint.
The car's Owner is Ricky Pfeil. Ricky’s Father has had this car since new. He shares how his Father brought this car home after trading in the family station wagon, and Mom was not to happy. My heart is just into these cars and the Dodge Aspen too. My first new car at 21 years old was a 1979 Dodge Aspen SE coupe. Had the same motor my car had more options. Sold it twelve years ago to a man in Canada the car had 10 thousand original miles at that time. This car is really gorgeous brings me so many memories of mine the sister to this car. I love it Lou! Thanks for sharing!!
You always find the rarest cars, Lou. I didn't even know this car existed. Keep up the good work, Brother.
Well I've seen a Volare & I've seen a Road Runner but I've never seen them combined till now . Thanks for posting .
Surprisingly this example exists. Thanks again Lou!!
A little late to the party, but this is the only video I can find with these wheels! For whatever reason, my grandfather swapped them onto his 1982 Toyota that I drive to this day. Took me forever to figure out where they came from, and you're right - you don't see them ANYWHERE aside from press photos from the era. They always get comments when I take the truck out. Cheers
Another great video 😁, you always find the best and rare finds of any channel!! Lou you are my favorite,, thanks so much for sharing and"Howdy from Texas"
Love it Lou! Neighbor had a 1978 in red, glorious car! Thanks again for sharing. These old beauties live on forever!
Never saw this car at a show Lou. Pretty rare to see something like this car. This car stands out in a crowd for sure!
The people next door had one of those. It was a mixed marriage he had 76 Nova she had the 79 Volare.
Remember Sergio Franco singing Volare in a commercial for this model back when.
Like número 400... Jeje. ¡Te lo mereces por mostrarnos este bello Plymouth Volare Road Runner 1979! Y tambíén por las magníficas tomas, y anécdotas, que siempre consigues en cada video! ¡Saludos cordiales desde la distancia!
Great video and that car was sweet never seen a Volare Road Runner before 👍🏾🔥🔥
Beautiful well kept car. I didn’t realize they only made a little over 1000 of them.
A local young lady has a '78 Volaré Road Runner--same color, but with Cragars--as her cruiser and fun driver.
I like the car, back in the day they didn't get much respect now it stands on it's own as a sporty looking muscle car package toward the end of the run .. 👍👍👍
Lou , this car brought good memories and bad one back. I had a 78 Volare with the 318 without Road Runner pkg . It was a sharp car but it had serious problems . Konked out in the parking lot at Great America in Illinois at 10pm . When it did run had good memories of dates with girlfriends . Needless to say that is a special Volare with some nice additions. Thanks for sharing!
I love Volares and this one is a very beautiful piece!
That's got a nice
Best body style ever in my opinion. Love it!
I love my 79, 100k miles all original. Old pics of the car show someone painted her to look like the road runner package but the second owner returned it to its proper duster package. These cars are awesome
