Hello down under!

I’ve never had a experience with those metal hoses but they certainly look great 👍!!!! I might keep some rubber ones in the trunk with clamps coolant and tools just for a little insurance if something were to ever happen out on the road!!???? I’m hoping you’ll be able to get a good load tomorrow too!!!!!

i used to work at an industrial supply service and have made all kinds of special application hoses like that TIG welding just about any kind of fitting you can imagine onto them. some of them required braided wire on them to increase pressure capability. sizes ranged from 1/8 id to 24 inches id. it was very interesting work. your application would look good with the wire braid on them. just something to think about.

My dad has one. 77 Smokey and the bandit edition. He swapped it with a 455 Olds and kept the character of the car. These should have a Pontiac, or Oldsmobile engine, never a Chevy.

I was going to use those type of hoses on my v8 s10 but after reading a lot of leaky comments on different websites, I changed my mind.

That’s what I’m worried about

One of my water pump hoses is sitting right on my turbo pipping 😵‍💫 so I’m hoping this does a better routing job . Has anyone tried it out ?

Not a fan of those hoses. It's mostly for looks or desperation because a proper molded hose can't be found. They don't hold shape and you gotta make sure they don't rub on frame rails or stuff. Makes it difficult for a car to pass tech if you're racing too. Just my opinion, I'd spend the money on silicon molded and never worry again. Keep up the good work!

Just my personal experience with silicone molded hoses. I got some from Goodyear for my trans am and the bottom radiator hose cracked in half not even 2 weeks after… definitely wouldn’t bother with them in a cramped space (95 trans am lt1) don’t think they can take that kind of heat.

did you glue the rubber to the stainless hose for insurance it will stay attached on the hose?

To many connections for me. I would take the correct size hose and heat bend it or get custom silicon.

So how did it hold up a year later??

Not a fan of the Corrugated hose I don’t like how you can see the clamp.. I like the steel braided hose look better if they still even make them ….. they would match the rest of your braided hoses

Ha ha i bet ur son will be like scared to death when he fires up either my Pontiac GTO or Jesse's Chevelle. Nest weekend is the last race of the Season. We will be there racing next weekend. Jesse does the same thing in the Dually on the snow and ice the kid's loves it so do i. Nana got a kick out of it last year in Wal-Mart parking lot. We are waiting on the kid's to get home from practice. And me and Jesse are gong to take the Camaro and go out to eat and cruise around town. We text the kid's and said eat left over's cause they need to be eating up. Jesse got back form the company to get our log book's. And document's for the load. The truck is loaded up with stuff and the trailer is loaded with stuff. I never seen that kind of radiator hose before ever. Jesse has and he said he has used it before. Jesse said when u start it rev it up and see if the belt touches the side of the clamp to the hos. That is what he does when he install's new hose's. I was like is that a Fox and Jesse got up from the couch and my la[p cause he thought a fox was in the back yard. And i was like no there on the video. And he said yeah and there not vicious. We can hear the kid's yelling at there friend's and we are outta here. Going to eat Jesse said Chinese i was like hell yeah. And go to the pub here and have a few beer's and play pool. Friend's will be there. And don't worry i will be driving i only drink like 3 beer's slowly. And we ain't staying long cause Jesse wants to head out early in the morning. I just remembered gas card. And Jesse was like $#@! lucky black Dog is sitting across the street with the gas card phew.

@@3BBgarage it's loud Austin is the youngest and he was like maybe 3-4 and he started it and next thing he's screaming and running for Jessie. He liked it after that. He thought it was about to take off ha ha ha.
