You got a good deal on the car, the front seats area deluxe but somebody has recovered them in a non factory style,the rear seat is standard

Motor has a little gallop low in one of the holes compression eddy carb 4 to 6 lbs ? Pressure holley no more then 7lbs

I just bought a 78 TA. 400 4 speed in pieces. You got a great deal! I live in central NY. Where are you located?

I wish this was a 4 speed, I’m in sc it’s very slim pickings here for classic cars, so I take what I can get lol

the 70 to 73 complete body is different, the quarters tail panel, rear valance ,hood, fenders , doors ,all off it. Even frame and floor pans are different.You can put that front bumper on but you have to change the hood, and in my opinion it looks stupid ,it takes a lot of sheet metal work to make it look good.

Oh I know it’s a lot to do, I’ve got the brackets for the fender to bolt the valance to and I’m talking to someone about a 71 formula hood, the rear plan is to leave the 78 bumper and taillights and I have the 71 rear window so I’m gonna try to weld in some patches to convert to the smaller rear window, I’m not trying to make it look factory, I just really like the earlier front end and the small rear glass, so from the outside(minus the bumper and taillights) it will look like a 70-73 lol

Awesome deal you got! Nice editing on your video too. I picked up a 78 TA for $200 but she was rough. Parked for 28 years. Originally a 403 car that's was froze up but I have a 400 sitting in it that I just installed.
