I truly enjoy these videos. It is rather a treat to watch this car coming apart knowing she'll be restored properly.

I think a piece of Bondo just gave me the finger ... LOL!

Had a buddy that rebuilt one of these too... a 1979 308. He discovered that both gas tanks were not even hooked up to the engine. It had only been in his family and had no work done on it. Apparently when it was built no one put fuel lines in. He said his uncle always claimed it got incredible fuel mileage, especially for a sports car, guess that was why - it never used gasoline! Needless to say he found some old fuel lines and installed them and corrected that problem. Great car though, other than that problem.

Had a buddy that rebuilt a 308 engine too, but he put it in backwards when he reinstalled it. After he got done he had four gears for reverse at high speed and one for reverse. It was the craziest thing I had seen. He's was like, "look, you don't have to shift it!". It was interesting. I rebuilt my engine, and while I didn't make the same mistake he did, I did find an extra chassis in the build of a car. I thought I was seeing double! How did they even get two complete chassis in there? I took it out and on the rebuild the car handles much better.

Just want to add: the quality of your videos is getting better and better all the time. Thank you for not doing them like WatchJRgo: he does hand held only and whips the camera around so many times it sends my vertigo to 11. I advised him more than once just to mount his go pro on a drill and spin it, that would only be slightly worse than what he's doing now....

I'd like to have you log your hours so we have an idea how much time you really spend on each segment. Love your videos!

Lou, aren't there any exploded view diagrams (usually used for ordering spare parts) similar the the Porsche PET for Ferrari's? It would be helpful for disassembly/re-assembly. It's also good to see I'm not the only person who power washes my car in the garage. You have the advantage of assigning mop duty to an assistant to keep up with the lake you're creating. Were you using any kind of degreaser?

there are no new glass suppliers.. you will have to find a used glass.

HA! I'm knee deep in my own 308GTB right now... Just reinstalling the driver's side fuel tank, WITH the engine still in the car... I even named the car, PIGLET... 🤓

LOL.

You shouldn't have a Manual for the car, it's a Ferrari! You would need a Tony or a Gino.....Manuals are for spanish cars!!!!
