My better half of almost 44 years Cindy and I met at the local drag strip when we were teens. We kept running in to one another so in 1978 we tied the knot. We have 3 adult sons and 8 grand kids ages 4 to almost 17. Having lots in common helps a ton. Our mutual car interests are wide spread from rat rods to drag cars to sandrail's to quads and jet skis. We drag raced Super comp and 3 Junior dragsters until 2015. Now we have three street rods and 7 cars and trucks. Of course she has her crafting hobby. Last year she hand made almost 10K greeting cards for the US Military. She will exceed that amount this year. You are right. Not only can it never be underestimated but it should never be taken for granted.

Clear Coating a 40 year patina is THE best look, ever. Looks 10X better than a new paint job. Love the lowered look, too on that Datsun !!!! I LOVE those latches on the Datsun pickup tailgates. So practical and satisfying.

appreciate seeing how frenched tail lights are done. Thanks for showing how that's done.

Living next door to you must be a riot. I'm actually kind of jealous of them. You paint the Datsun the avacado green, you could call it "Fridge". I'm old enough, I grew up with a fridge in that color.

Put a sign on the other side saying “ If you can read this , your to dam close “ with a switch on the dash to make it go up and down ! Lol

Here’s another tip for you. Get you a flexible fabric tape measure from the sewing department at stores for measuring around curved surfaces like your taillight buckets you made in this video.

I recently picked up a 1965 Ford F100 that I started working on, mainly because of channels like yours I finally got the motivation to move from rebuilding vintage motorcycles to trying my hand at rebuilding this vintage truck... The funny thing, I didnt notice it at the time when I picked it up because the paint was so oxidized from sitting for 20 years... its Ford Factory Baby Blue.
