I actually prefer this to the coupe to be honest - better balanced design in my opinion - looks lovely in silver
Beautiful!!!😻😻 Cool to know the history behind it. The white one In the background, looks like my 2018 XE.
The perfect car. Wonderful.
Love an XJ in silver
SUPER CAR.

I agree, one of the most beautiful saloons ever built
Miałem takiego. Znam go bardzo dokładnie. Światłowodami podświetlane przełączniki.Dwa zbiorniki z pompami elektrycznymi, skrzynia biegów 3biegi, zawieszenie tył dwa amortyzatory na koło, Mercedes z tych czasów może się uczyć od tej marki.

Yes they were excellent cars, nothing drove like them back in the day.
Very nice…on Kent alloys, optional velour upholstery options and SU HS6 2” carbs. Dials have silver around them which matches the year, but the side stripping and bonnet centre chrome treatments are additions, especially on the C pillar where the chrome finishers would have worked in tandem with a period vinyl roof…like on my Double Six Vanden Plas car. Looks Australian delivered with the fuel cooler and the factory A/C. I also had a late 1978 4.2 litre car in red a few years back. Lovely machines.

@@LouGuthryMotors Thank you very much.
Did this car have a factory vinyl roof? Also are the side chrome moldings and bonnet molding factory options? Have only seen them on Daimlers.

Hi Alan, I don’t believe so. To me it looks like they were added later
