1976 Ford F-150 Ranger revival.

I'll be trying to get a 1976 Ford F-150 ranger to run again. The FordF-150 has been sitting and was abandoned due to running poorly. It's not been sitting that long, it's only been a year. However, the truck was abandoned due to running very poorly. We will start with a new fuel filter and then try for a first start. We will be diagnosing the issue of the poor running. Installing a new fuel pump, new carburetor. We will also inspect the vacuum advance and get it freed up again. This will answer the most asked question in automotive internet. Will it run?

I got a 1977 F100 Flairside, 302 V8, C4 Automatic Trans. Overall a very clean vehicle that was off road 11 years under a shed.

@@ForsakenSteel thanks. Yeah, I agree. It seems that since I've started following revival videos, these trucks have gotten more and more expensive as people try their hand at it. I live in the rust belt though so around here they're also a little extra crunchy if you know what I mean.

The old truck isn't doing two bad, I useualy time it by ear take around until it's at it's best, then check the timing and adjust it a bit,if it doesn't seem right,then put it at top dead centre number one, check mark's all the best to you and your loved ones

I should have reached the timing marks. It was running pretty good so I just left it. Now I'm curious if the marks were actually right. Thanks for watching Donald.
