1976 was the last year of that design. 1977 was the beginning the new box look for the Caprice Classic and the Impala.

I owned two Impala's, a 72 and a 75. I can guarantee this car here was garaged. Those dashes in these cars were notorious for cracking. Both my Impala's did this. Back then most cars with vinyl dashes had this issue when they were out in the sun all the time. The dashes weren't made to handle the sun exposure. Today's vehicles mostly don't have this issue as they're made to take the sun exposure abuse.

I have this same car in blue with 02300 miles, Yes that's right it's new, how much is that worth? Miles so low I wont dr8ve it. I planned to take it to live in a foreign country as it's ez to repair.
