Always loved John. Was devastated when he died. Such a great talent and we were blessed to see him in concert many times. Listened to his music constantly. May the Lord keep you in peace, John❤️🙏🏻✝️

I love that story about Sandy Barnes! I can't keep from laughing every time I hear it. 😂 John was such a great story teller, helping me picture that time in his life. Wow, I sure do miss him being here, but so glad we have KZread to listen to his music and stories that keep those memories & great music& life slive. ❤️🎶🎸🥰✈️🌹🦋🐴💐

Growing up in Colorado in the '70's John Denver was our state mascot. What a beautiful soul and a unrivaled songwriter and singer. We miss you, John.

I grew up in Colorado Springs, and I agree. John Denver made us all proud to be Coloradans.

Oh how I miss this guy. What a genius, no one else comes close.

John Denver claimed the mid-cities of Dallas-Fort Worth as his "hometown." He used to come back to Arlington, Texas once a year to play golf with a few of his old high school friends. That's pretty cool staying in touch for so long with a few old high school nobody buddies.

Lily was so cute and only one alive left of this show. RIP David Carradine, autoerotic asphyxiation wasn't worth it. He was a great actor. John had great comedy chops. Too bad he took that experimental flight.

I think they should have elaborated more on the buddist monk costume scene. Could of been really funny. Hawk and the Eagle song is one of my very favorites.

There will be no one like him. But I wonder why Starwood in Aspen was cut off at the end

Starwood in Aspen is muted. BUT, that doesn't prevent you from enjoying the show's content, while admiring John's dancing and storytelling abilities and comedic timing.

So, John was lured to Hollywood to do a few of these specials thanks to ABC.
