Some of the most fun I have ever had is racing vintage bikes with my sons .
1976년도에 나의 첫dirt bike cr125 elsinore ! 지금도 그때를생각하면 심장이 감회가새롭습니다 그후에 cr 250까지~ 좋은영상에 감사 합니다
I wish I still had my ‘74 125 Elsinore today. I remember seeing Broc racing for DG on a Honda Elsinore out at Saddleback and Carlsbad in the mid ‘70’s. I remember meeting Broc at DG in Anaheim, California. I had DG do some mods to my bike. Brings back some good memories. Thanks Vintco for this video.
This is a great channel, I started riding in 1973 and have been the owner of over 1,000 motorcycles. I remember a close friend buying one of there Elsinore's in a crate and taking it out with him to Orting WA for the surprise ride of our lives....it was not an easy ride for us until we were able to put together some riding skills....all these years later I still build these old Vintage bikes....Cheers
You just don't see many vintage CRs like this 😊😊😊
1974 I was a teen working after school in a Honda shop putting these together from the crate. This build brought back some great memories. Thanks for posting. Sure would like to take a few laps on it.
The mighty Elsinore. Man that bike has been restored and modded with no expense spared. Looks awesome!
It is great to see my old bike, awesome build Dallas.
My first bike couldn't wait to get home from school or work road the heck out of it
74 had the green stripe on silver tank 75 had the orange stripe on silver tank

And offset forks. Pretty sure they are off the 250. I tried this back in the day and the magical front end feel kinda died. But they didn't bend as easily.

Wow you're smart..unless you paint a green one red
Love those bikes, I thought I was fancy on a Yamaha until I saw an article in some fancy paper doing a test . Luckily I had enough saved up to get one . 73 1/2 green stripe I believe .
Yep remembered when they came out. I fixed upma tm250 kinda wish I would have waited til the Elsinore came out. They were fast and had great bottom end. The early 70's were awesome.
All I will say... Magnificent All Around Bike! PRO CIRCUIT can make alot of $$$ selling those pipes.
Doesn't the 75 have the red tank. I had a 74 and it was a green tank. Awesome motorcycle 👍
I can remember a few of my friends on yzs , rms and kxs at the time that thought they were fast . 😂
Great Job Dallas!
I spent a year in shop class fixing Andre fixing that rear fender. I never could get that bike to do a wheelie.
I still have my 1981 honda cr250r elsinore that I ride at the river and still runs good
Nice Dallas!
Badass bike liked the video good job dallas
Dallas, were you nervous with the camera rolling???
Let Brock By. Sorry Couldnt help Myself.
Rip Brock
It's a Frankinsnore. Wrong color tank for the year and who knows what fork. Not the prettiest machine, but I bet it rips.
He built it....but he Let Broc Buy.....it.

Much things?
I have been out of vintage racing for eons. 1994 AHRMA sportsman intermediate 125 national champ, 1996 classic 125 expert national champ. This bike would not be legal in AHRMA or AMA "vintage" classes because of the NON FACTORY cylinder, multi mapping ignition and I suspect that rear end would not measure to 4 in travel.. So what class or series does it run in? plus that heaaavy CR250 front end...Id rather have my light swizzle stick 125 forks with my custom "X" brace I made for the triple clamps. I remember seeing the name NYBOLD on a bikes front fender when I had to go to Hollister to wrap up my championship. Nice bike but mine was just as trick back in the day. GEM reed, red line swingarm, plastic RC tank, 76 tall seat, modded fat pegs and I even ran a water cooled shinobi head in our local NON sanctioned races.

Then obviously there needs to be a mod class. There was no stock motocross bike anybody that raced did/does something to them. Why wouldn't you use modern suspension technology and power/reliability upgrades ? That pro circuit pipe and silencer, and the head are a work of art. Vforce reed cage, newer 36mm carb. This whole bike is better than Moates hrc. I say Hell yeah.

@@joenobody2580 To be honest, when I was racing in AHRMA the "spirit of competition" with period correct modifications was more fun than some person with allot of money throwing it at his interest. We were trying to re create what it was like to race the old bikes in that era was it not? Don't get me wrong, I had the trickest CR125 in the country in 1994 but it was all things available IN 1974.
What cylinder is that
S A N O
What does it weigh?
WHAT ISSUE O DIRT BIKE IS THIS IN?
IS THAT A MUGEN CYLINDER ?
CR 250 fork
Bad. Ass.
put some todays knobby's on that thing and scream past the competition.better hang on to your 🏀⚾️⚽️🏈🤣😂😁😆👍
What's the point? Why didn't you just take a modern bike and make it look vintage? Hardly in the spirit of vintage racing.
cool but that seat is damn ugly.
That bike is totally illegal to race in the AHRMA modern vintage class. Those Olins shocks look to be of the floating piston seperating gas from oil, nickosil cylinder etc... They are supposed to modifications common for the ERA they raced in. Cool bike though.
