Also, why do you think that 1976 College Football season's XVIIIth Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl classic bet. Univ., Neb./Tex. Tech on December 31, 1976 (Fri.-New Yr.'s Eve) couldn't be moved ahead from 8:00 PM (E.T.) to 3:15 PM (E.T.) w/ABC-TV Network starting coverage, that game on 12/31/1976 at 3:15 PM (E.T.) pre-empting episodes, Mon.-Fri. daytime serialized drama series "Gen. Hosp."/"Edge, Night"?
