There's a voice in my head that drives my heel.... HAHA what are the odds that he'd turn the radio on and we hear that great driving song that was released the same year as this nicely preserved Thunderbird???!!! :)

Sorry, but in comparison, I looked at the 1973 Thunderbird, but chose the 1973 Lincoln Continental Mark IV. I simply thought the wood grain dash and Speedo looked much prettier and rich than in the Thunderbird.

Had 3 of them from 72 to 76. They were nice but huge big boats with lots of smog pollution emission control crap on engine and slow moving, low hp rating because of the fuel crisis back then. Also easily to rust .

They never rusted at all.....in sunny southern California!

I notice you have a tendency to want to show off the wipers..... please don't. You don't want to run wipers on a dry window, especially old wipers. You run the risk of leaving scratches on the glass and burning up the wiper motor due to extensive resistance. They're not intended to run on a dry window, even through one or two swipes.

Yes, I always cringe at that. Always expect to hear the metal screech, scratching the glass.

I hate when they turn on the wipers too! I cringe at that especially on a lovely classic car this is!
