watched Hockey Night IN Canada every Saturday night growing up in Michigan, and recognized every player, what a great group of players. In 3 years hope most are still alive and healthy to attend 50 year anniversary

i am so proud to be old enough to have witnessed this most amazing event and to each player i give a hearty thank you for an event in my life i will never forget. it is number three on my list next to the birth of my daughter and my son. GO CANADA GO!!!

Thank you Bobby Clarke. I was there in Montreal, and I knew you would come back. Because you were out of shape and very tight. Anywhere you went in TO the game was on. From the schools to the buses to the person walking on the street. Whereever you went the game was on. We love our hockey and we love you guys Thank you.

Remember the series well. Even though I was only 7 at the time. Hated Clarke and Esposito as a Leafs fan but sure was glad they were on Canada's team. I've been an Espo fan ever since.

А у нас в СССР, было много Проходных матчей, не выиграл и ладно, потом выиграем- Быть может! И наших русских, это конечно Харламов и Якушев, и конечно Третьяк!

There should have been a small group within the organizers from Canada.. that had the courage to call that team what it really was, "Team NHL" --- NOT 'team canada'. .... No excuse for not have Robert Marvin HULL on that team, for example.

Dryden was not very good and my favorite player the big M could not control his stress having to play against the Russians, it threw him off his game .

Actually...dryden got a lot of crap...but Watch the games. Not only the hilights...dryden was good...and often trying to defend against 2 on1 or being short handed ... canada won 4 games, tied 1 and lost 3. Dryden was a big part of that
