You are looking stronger each day, which is good to see. The "SS" rubber emblem on the 1972 models would actually pass for a bumper guard and for damage protection which made the insurance people happy. LOL. I think you meant "Strato" bucket seats perhaps. No VIN, can't win, but something like: 1 for Chevrolet, D for Malibu, 37 for two door sport coupe, various choices for the engine (F for 307 V8 with two barrel, H for 350 V8 with two barrel, J for 350 V8 with four barrel, or U for 402 V8 with four barrel), 2 for 1972 model year, possible B for Baltimore, MD assembly (closed in 2005), R for Arlington, TX assembly (still operates as of 2024), K for Kansas City, MO (Leeds, closed in 1988), L for Van Nuys, CA (closed in 1992) or 1 for Oshawa, Ontario Canada (closed in 2019, but reopened in 2021) and the rest is the production sequence. Very rare killer example of the "Tape and Stripe" Musclecar. Pontiac did similar with the Tempest / Lemans GT-37 package - Stripe package, hood pins, Rally Rims, exhaust tips.....But Pontiac let you check the boxes for the GTO engines 400 in 1970, 455 in 1971 - Even could get HO 455 in 71, but only a handful were made. 90% of them were 350 autos - great cars though. Dad's last two full showroom restorations were 1970 Olds 98's that we intend to keep, but he was always choked that the Cutlass was and is the only "in demand" collector car!!
I have a 1972 Heavy Chevy. Mine is Black w/white stripes, 350 engine, turbo 350 trans, 12 bolt rear. I love it.
I had one, canary yellow. And it was a lemon. Still working the algorithm Steve.
Looking stronger Steve! Keep working bro!
I remember one of our Driver’s Training cars in high school was a Heavy Chevy in the early 70s. 😊
Good to see you, Steve M. The Heavy Chevy is pretty cool also.
A friend has 1971 Heavy Chevy with drum brakes and manual steering. It does have a 12 bolt rear, but no rear sway bar. It is an automatic with a Turbo 400 transmission.
Nice to see you Steve!
You sound like you are getting your energy back Steve. Keep getting better bud.
Thank you Steve, another great video!

seeing Steve doing better reminds me of Ann Murry's a little good new today.
We love you Steve
Love the wheels.
I sure remember seeing these around. Good to see you back to work.
Corvette wheels look good on it. I had a 71 black on black and I miss it daily
Was not expecting an Anne Murray shout out.
Looking good Steve, All The Best.
Wow! That is a beautiful piece of muscle. Wow!
Always enjoy hearing a few tidbits of your encyclopedic knowledge of all things automotive!
Another masterpiece video! Thank you for these video's Steve.
Steve, I had the sister to this car. I had a "Rally Nova". The same concept. Had the 350 engine with 3 speed sagnaw trans with hurst shifter. I could only get the 10 bolt rear. But it did have positraction, dual exhaust, Bucket seats, sport steering wheel, blacked out grill, and the steel rally wheels with chrome trim rings. It was the first brand new car I ever bought. I loved that car. Kept it until 1994. I wish I still had it. It was light and fast!
Great content but even GREATER to see you back at it Steve!
Great to see you back Steve! You were greatly missed.

I had a bronze Heavy Chevy when I was 17 that had a 307 and power drum brakes. Also had air conditioning. Man I loved that car.
