1971 epic original high-rise OTIS elevator and motor room!
It is quite rare to find a high-rise elevator from the eraly 1970's in original condition! This one serves 24 floors. The video includes a visit to the motor room where the epic floor selector can be found!
This is the detailed video of a specific elevator in an elevator tour video. Check out the tour video over here: • Uplfting tour at the M...

Amazing that it still runs so well. I wonder how many lift engineers can still work with this equipment, I suppose they only let old experienced engineers work on it who still have the know how. That floor selector is awsome to see.
Absolutely Awesome! I love old Otis relay logic
Wow, would have loved to see this gem!! At the start, the floor indicator - interesting how the floor selector with the moving brush contacts do not create the unique on-off-on effect as the selector moves. 2:28 music to my ears that genset starting! Great video.
First time I've seen the floor indicators placed in such a position 0:49
I love you for posting this you would not know what I did in Slovakia
Awesome!!
Super geniale Fahrstuhl Gleich umgebauten Motor
Looks like Bennie lift this tightly small doors isn't... Wow, how fast this lift goes on! I just first time to see this place in the elevator motor room... Be careful, don't such things over to it ok. Nice to find, mate. ☺
Would like to see a video from a lift engine room which is steady filmed. All the clips here are people swaying with camera's from motor to selector to controller and to selector.... If you get a floor call you know what's going to happen, door close relais, table lifts from the floor plates and the machine starts. I installed and connected so many of these selectors and controllers but sadly never took pictures or video of the work in that time.
Wahnsinn!

Adjusting and coping with wear on the floor selectors must be a regular job.
Do you have any clue if this is still here?

@@PostTower considering you told me that someone said the maritim strandhotel’s system 260 was modernised in around 2018 I guess maybe it really isn’t there anymore. But perhaps if you know someone who lives closer to this place, you could get that person to check if this lift is still surviving?
