l had a 70 1/2 SS 454 turbo 400 convertible forest green white stripe Chevelle with 36k on the odometer but had a bad motor parked in my driveway at 16 years old. l had the motor rebuilt hanging on the cherry picker ready to go in when l got caught w/ pot in the house and my mom kicked me out. l came back a week later and she had the car hauled off as junk!!!!! Before she passed away in the 90s l showed her what they were worth and she cried and told me she had given it away. Back then they were selling between 50k and 80k.
