In an age of KZreadrs that seem to be in a competition to see who can be the loudest, I found this a nice change of pace. Just shots of all the fun toys of the day. It also made me realize how much I miss Baron Karza and Andromeda.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again I tell everybody that the 70s produced the best toys ever. Of course I'm extremely fond of the Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman I've been collecting both prospective toy lines for over 30 years. Needless to say I have a lot of great toys from the 70's and very early 80's enjoy them very much.

The 70's were a great time to be a kid. I vividly remember playing with the Shogun Warriors, Evel Knievel motorcycle and energized Spider Man. I may have had Mr. Mouth too, but I'm not 100% sure. Honorable mention should also go to the Big Wheel, Fisher Price toys, Tonka trucks, Matchbox, Hot Wheels, Big Trak, checkers, Candy Land, Loc Blocs (a small kids version of Legos), slot car sets, Lionel train sets, etc. Some of those may have had their origins in earlier decades, but they translated well into the 70's and beyond.

The Sears (Christmas Wishbook) is from 1983 and the Wards (Winter catalog) is from 1979. I got them because they denote the ColecoVision, Intellivision, Atari 2600, Atari 5200 and Texas Instruments computer. I'm hoping someone will start posting catalogs online and hope to scan mine so there is a reference online for them.

0:54, something I once owned and can't ever remember where it went. Toys (like socks and glasswear) had a way of disappearing. It was a cool figure although the plastic dome simply laid in place and would often fall off during play.

Oldest Kid In The World I can say this after watching a few more of you videos I had a large majority of these toys and they were well taken care of I left most of my collection in the states (apartments here are small) I was wondering have you ever heard of these toys called Ding-aLings (no joke) I received them Christmas 1969, 6 small robots and a large one they could go inside I just picked them up at a yard sale for (my dog chewed up my originals from 69). I must also thank my parents I wanted for nothing but far from spoiled I would get the strap from time to time but the collection of toys I was give is incredible but they also hold great memories of great times. I can remember my mother and father looking all over for the six millon dollar man figure took us six months but I finally got it for Christmas 1975 (as well as maskatron, Bigfoot, and Oscar) , or getting the mego Batman with the removable cowl on a rainy Friday in green acres mall NY 1974. It’s the value of the memories is why I still have my toys. I’ll be waiting and watching for more videos. Thanks

Thanks

The only thing wrong with the video is his failure to include Pulsar The Ultimate Man of Adventure and GI Joe.

I remember Pulsar. You would press his back and his lungs would fill up and you see the blood flow in his chest.
I wouldn't like Hugo on my Bedside Table

+Bigstep uk I don't think even Hugo himself would like a Hugo on his bedside table! 😂
Wow is. Hugo
They left out the best of the west, action Jackson, GI Joe , and Steve Scout, I don’t see the bionic woman as a boy toy back then
Is it just me or does Hugo look a bit like Dr.Evil from the Austin Powers movies?
They released a r rated kids toy?
spent my youth destroying many of these, Now I spend my money looking for replacements on eBay...
No G.I Joe?

When I put together videos like this, I try to avoid the things that everyone is extremely familiar with. Nothing against G.I.Joe, it's been an awesome toy line. Thanks for watching!
