Mark, I truly love what you do and achieve.... a little jealous about your man cave...your narration is also really honest and funny... "lot's of bloody patience" indeed lol
My dear old auntie had one of these exact models back in the late 60's. I am very impressed with your restoration. Cheers
Love your videos and I am a subscriber here in the USA. I do occasionally need subtitles, but no big deal. Keep the videos coming !
I really love and appreciate these kind of radios. My grandmother own one and I fell in love with it. I use to enjoy playing vinyl 33 on them and appreciate the sweet warm sound. I also enjoyed polishing it and making it shine with the wood shine finish. I own one today that I restored. Wish I had the time to sand it down and make it look nicer like your video 😀😀😀😀
Mark I have to say that when I watch someone else after you, I'm bored. I love your humor and these vids are quite nice/helpful. You just helped me solve something I have been trying to figure out. I have a Bang and Olufsen that looks just like this and I need to get the stereo out but couldn't figure out how. It has to be the same way! Now I can refinish the rosewood!
Your KZread channel is very informative, thanks great guy
love your videos Mark you make me to aspire to be a better technician and to keep repairing more

Just came across your channel - this is most excellent, Mark! Great work, highly skilled, and you must be the friendliest man on KZread. :D Instantly subscribed, and can't wait to dive into your videos.
Stereosound based in Brighouse near Bradford
It looks like an old Phillips unit from the 1960s. They also produced an organ called the Phillicorda in the same design.
Mark complimenti sei Molto Bravo 🙏👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Once again a great video brings back memories. From memory I think sterosound was made by HMV
Quite right about stripper. It's slightly stronger then water these days. Wood prep is a chore for sure.
You are right, paint stripper nowadays is not what it use to be, which is why I adopted the use of card scrappers, Which, once mastered, it is actually easier and faster than paint stripper and does not soften wood as the stripper would.
👍👍
Looks similar to an 1970s HMV Steromaster stereogram record player.
That looks very much like the HMV radiogram that my dad bought in the late sixties, 1968? I wonder if this one was manufactured under license?
