The best part was the rubber on the rear quarters!

So the traction control will let you spin the back tires if you disable it LOL

Yup, I smiled at that too
Absolutely gorgeous car! I love the rubber chunks all over the bottom of the 1/4’s. It says this cars no trailer queen!
Nice to see one that someone had the guts to modify and build the way they wanted. Very sweet cuda!!👍

Rebuild, not build. Chrysler already built it, someone rebuilt it.
love that car,the mini lites are icing on one hell of a bad ass cake
Great honest representation of a beautiful car!
I want every car in the walk arounds but sadly I will just continue to drive my Subaru. I enjoy your channel and love every vehicle you've shown.
My 1974 'Cuda had the 360 4 bbl engine with 245 horsepower. It was quicker than you think and a blast to drive. These cars had major rattles/creaks as the car aged and the interior colors faded fast if left in the sun. Originals are almost impossible to find in decent shape unless garage kept and rarely driven. The modern Challenger R/T with it's 5.7 Hemi lets you re-live the old days and feel of these classic muscle cars but with comfort and all the bells and whistles.
Those mini-lite road racing wheels look so good on Cudas. The actual race car AAR Cudas and Challengers used those wheels. All of the cars, (including the Mustangs, Camaros, & Javelins), in the AAR series ran on mini-lites. I like that it pays tribute to the real AAR race cars.
Bought AAR new in 1970, Plum Crazy, auto on column, buckets with no console. $3,300 new.
It's a crime that this video only has 507 views.
With the VIN, you win: B for Plymouth Barracuda, S for Special price class, 23 for two door hardtop, N for 383 CID V8 with four barrel, 0 for 1970 model year, E for Los Angeles, CA (Maywood) assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Maywood plant closed in 1971. We got the tag, we can brag: M88 for deck molding treatment, N41 for dual exhaust, N42 for bright exhaust tips, N85 for tachometer, N96 for carburetor fresh air package (shaker, as Mr. Magnante noted), J81 for rear wing spoiler, CTD for codes continued, L31 for fender/hood mounted turn signals, M21 for drip rail moldings, M25 for body sill moldings, M31 for body belt moldings, G36 for outside dual racing mirrors, J25 for three speed wipers, J45 for hood tie down pins, J54 for sport hood, J68 for backlite (rear window) louvers, EK2 for Vitamin C Orange exterior paint, H6X9 for high back black vinyl bucket seat interior, E63 for 383 V8 with four barrel, D21 for four speed manual transmission, R21 for AM-FM radio, 5-1/2 watts, among other codes.
A fine automobile! I think I need a road trip to see it in person
This must have been the hellcat of the day from the factory those days...
Very cool car, i like the build- more like a trans am look than the pro touring style
Yes they are the same color but technically torred is Plymouth hemi orange is Dodge
Sorry Steve that is not discoloration it is known as oxidation and that equals RUST!!!! You can sugar coat it if you want to but it's RUST plain n simple. And on a car that nice it shouldn't have ANY trunk floor "discoloration".

I would go back stock since its a real N96 shaker car plus 4 speed plus high impact paint code(EK2).. AAR type clones should be built from base BH23GOB cars.. not many 383 N code cars got the shaker hood treatment.. just my opinion..

Any car with a shaker hood is can't go wrong bad f'ing ass in my opinion, I totally agree.

Absoutely right not many 383 shaker cars built very rare.

I have a friend that knows of a 70 Cuda 383, 4 speed , shaker car painted panther pink with a 383 hockey stick stripe.

Yeah Why would you turn a 383 Shaker car into a toy and use a real rubber bumper on it, must have been a old build
@garybishop4030

He should have kept it more original with the shaker. I like AARs but not crazy about clones
340 Six Barrel tire shredder!😁 Great video, Steve!😁

This one is originally a 383 car, now fitted with a 400 low deck block, fitted with a 440 stroker crankshaft.
HEY STEVE! Take an ice pick to that TRUNK, and IF the pick doesn't go through those rust "discoloration" spots, I will agree w you.
Why does he call rust "discoloration"?
Beautiful!
Sweet lookin' SS, too. May have to stop by there.
About 1974 i knew some who had a 70 Cuda with the 440 6 pack and shaker, had 430 gears, red with white top and white interior, wasn't as fast as my 67 Camaro 427/425 Yenko clone with 456 gears and a 4 speed but still fast
Only problem is more weight with the big block than the 340 small block!
Great channel and cars. Minus all the weirdo nit pickers in the comments.
Stunning looking Cuda 👌 😍
Very cool ♪
Nice car.
11 /10. I WANT that.
👍👍👍
Idk - beautiful car but I think that discoloration in the trunk would be called rust.
The antenna is on the right quarter! That’s detail.
What the difference between a “big” or “small” block? And yes, this is a trick question!
Hey that's one of our `Cuda front spoilers!
@ironkid65

That is NOT a front spoiler !! It is an air dam.
That! Is sweet!!!!
how can you have such an incredible car and not spray that rust in the trunk with, at the very least, some wd-40 ? .....eccch !
Remember Plymouth is six barrel Dodge is six pack these dealer guys always make that mistake 🤣

My ex hubby has a 70 Cuda. ❤
Dream car thanks .....
I hate the louvers on the rear window
Hey theres a cuda in Auburn IN. Thats worth more its the first 70 Hemi cuda built.Est.1million Dollars.
HATE the pistol grip shifter.
Great to get a far faster and more powerful than stock drivetrain, don't want to get beat by a WRX or something similar
Ok I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but in response to your statement Steve "this car originally started life as A `Cuda" .........what else could they use but a `Cuda for this car? Not tryna be a troll. It's an honest question.

@Ben Jones oh ok. I thought you meant that it may have started life as a Challenger or something. 👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks bud.
you should wipe off the rubber from the rear fenders.
Last week he was selling a fake Boss 302 Mustang This week a fake Cuda AAR. LOL

Love the car, but I would change out those ugly wheels.
I polished my water pump and went about a 1th faster
With the raggedy ass cheap chinese tires 😂 the rubber on the rear quarters isn't even from burnouts, it's just from pulling it into the garage.

Korean actually, Hankook tires are good quality aren't they? I hope so , Iv'e got a pair just like the ones on this Cuda , haven't used them yet ,and they cost $700😢
Spend money Steve ya cheap arse. Start it up? 🤷♂️
Be ugly inappropriate wheels and tires
