I'm speechless! It reminds me of the cars I used to play with as a child in the 60's!!!!

I painted on rust converter on some rusty fender from a 1929 Pontiac, to help them from getting any worse. When I got to them, the converter turned so hard I couldn't sand through them. Good Job.

And yet here I was crying with each and every disappearing strip of that beautiful patina. Could have easily left the main body as is with maybe just a little protection applied to preserve it. Tomatoe/tomato

Brings back memories of my Jeep in the 50's, made by a UK toy company called Triang. Great restoration of one of the timeless toys of yesteryear, well done on saving it from the scrap heap.

Wonderful! My grandpa and uncle customized a fire truck pedal car for me in about 1968. Grass Lake VFD all the way! I really enjoyed peddling around in it!

Getting off all that rust must be so satisfying

I have always loved JEEPS and JEEP history! I am the proud owner of a JEEP PATRIOT now! Wonderful restoration job! Wish I could get one of these for my young grandchildren!

@Andrés García there was also some horrendous cracks in the light you could clearly see as he polished them. Otherwise some dad bought his son his first Willey's, YEAH 🇺🇲🗽🇺🇲

There is something very special and delightful seeing things restored. When a kid receives something so special he/she will remember it when they are old and grey hairef.

Any kid would look at that, look around, then scream, "I WANT MY IPAD"! But a toddler would LOVE that. Really-little kids gravitate to vehicles. Even the girls. (I see it every day.)

I love how simple it was to restore an old Jeep. Just about that easy, just bigger tools.

Nice job. But I would have gone for a more Golden Eagle look, black with gold trim.

Reminds me of a pedal car I had sixty years ago, made by Tri-Ang, later to be part of Sharna/Hornby/Tri-Ang/Pedigree. Identical construction, the only difference being that mine had a car front end instead of a Jeep - Lovely big chrome radiator grille, bumper and lights. I can't quite figure out why we don't now have adult pedal cars. It would be a cheaper, greener, more fun way to get around town, and to burn off some fat!

You should paint frame and bumpers into black color, and add some ammunition on vehicle (shovel, canister) etcetera. In general- great work

I wish toys were made as well today. You had a bit of a time disassembling it! Too much plastic used today. You're fantastic and fun to watch.
