1970 CHEVELLE! 6.0/4L80E! STAINLESS EXHAUST PLUS CUTOUTS!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video I’m giving an overview of a 1970 Chevelle that I did a stainless exhaust on! The car has an LY6 6.0/4L80E swap. I did a 3” 409 stainless exhaust with cutouts, x-pipe, Super 44 Flowmaster mufflers, and 3” tailpipes. These cars can be a little tricky doing 3” tailpipes on but you can make it happen!

I once built an A-Body with "Pypes" stainless parts. The whole damned set-up rusted badly being only 304 series SS. That was a hard-learned lesson. I really like your car.

That’s odd, I’d be curious if the box got labeled wrong. 304 SS doesn’t rust. It will turn a gold/bronze color once it has had some heat cycles but it won’t rust. Thanks it’s a customers car!

Thanks Andre! This actually has Dakota Digital RTX gauges that look factory as well as their BIM module to allow it to communicate with the Holley setup. However you can make original gauges work but you will end up spending half or more of what the Dakota setup costs
