I can’t believe your installing the engine and transmission all by yourself! It looked like a two person job. But then again, I always like to work on my projects alone so that I don’t have any interruptions! Hopefully we get to see it painted with engine and transmission in place.

A couple of thoughts... Once you've made your tunnel maybe think about licensing their reproduction and selling them as an 'after market' floor pan for the coyote mods (talk about a time saver and BIG HELP....). Also if I happen to be in your state's neighborhood (and you need a free apprentice) I'd be happy to volunteer. Just sayin.

You have restored my cynical view of today's youth in regards to innovation and "can-do" attitude. It will be people like YOU that will pull this country out of dependence on foreign made garbage into the "Made In the USA" quality items that made the U.S. identifiable with things that last. You make things look almost too simple -- but I know from decades of experience that you have to have talent nurtured by years of experience. Good for you!

Jo Daddy's Garage just posted a video showing clearance problems with installing the upper bell housing bolts to the 5.2L. it's an automatic but not sure if your going to find a similar problem. Looks like Joe Daddy will have to drill holes in the firewall to allow the bolts to insert into the bell housing . He'll then install plugs to fit the hole openings.

With regard to the oil pan, with the notched cross member do you have access to remove all the bolts IOT drop it? Or does the cross member get removed?

The bottom of the oil pan should be above the cross member because if you bottom out on something you don't want the object to puncture your oil pan. How about a deflector plate to help protect your oil pan?

Excellent question, but I wouldn't think so... not unless they added another 3 inches from the center line cross wise and a few extra for length. Me, I'd use the original for a template and do just that.
