I really like how methodical your approach is. Excellent work good sir, you truly are a master craftsman.
I been meaning to try this swap and you have just made it a lot easier to decide to DO IT! Looking forward to your tunnel build. Thanks again!
Love your patience. It's part of doing that type of conversion. This guy is so smart it will all work out. Great job sir.
Proper job.this is what makes your channel for me. Making it happen and making it right. Tip of the hat to you sir

For real, it looks pristine
AWESOME! Can't wait to see you fabricate the transmission tunnel!
I can’t believe your installing the engine and transmission all by yourself! It looked like a two person job. But then again, I always like to work on my projects alone so that I don’t have any interruptions! Hopefully we get to see it painted with engine and transmission in place.
Good job..Dr Frankenstein!! Patch & tack!! You make it look so easy,I know it is not. Nice..Ben👍🤘
Ben, Your making it look awesome. Can't wait to see what it'll look like after it goes to paint.
Very nice video 📹 👍
Great video... making it doable for us DIYers.. much appreciate it.

Nice job 🇺🇸 Your customers !!!! Going to love it 👍
Great job...love the channel
A couple of thoughts... Once you've made your tunnel maybe think about licensing their reproduction and selling them as an 'after market' floor pan for the coyote mods (talk about a time saver and BIG HELP....). Also if I happen to be in your state's neighborhood (and you need a free apprentice) I'd be happy to volunteer. Just sayin.
I was going to ask if you do this type of work for coyote and different transmission, but this answered my question. Looks like it’s coming along excellent!
A lot of work to modernize an old muscle car but you make it look easy!
You have restored my cynical view of today's youth in regards to innovation and "can-do" attitude. It will be people like YOU that will pull this country out of dependence on foreign made garbage into the "Made In the USA" quality items that made the U.S. identifiable with things that last. You make things look almost too simple -- but I know from decades of experience that you have to have talent nurtured by years of experience. Good for you!

Thank you!
Lucky customer. That should be a real nice car when finished :)
that is a nice ass car cant wait to see it done! keep up the great videos
Doug thorly makes some nice swap try y headers for that chassis, it says automatic on their site but i fit them with a tko and hydraulic clutch in a 65, 67 and a 69
I have to say, You have a very nice shop
Jo Daddy's Garage just posted a video showing clearance problems with installing the upper bell housing bolts to the 5.2L. it's an automatic but not sure if your going to find a similar problem. Looks like Joe Daddy will have to drill holes in the firewall to allow the bolts to insert into the bell housing . He'll then install plugs to fit the hole openings.
Just awesome!
Good job.
I feel your pain! I have a 70 mach 1 and I put an AOD auto in mine. I was wondering if you are gonna make the plate over the transmission removable? Might make servicing way easier in the future. Just an idea
What tool are you using to cut the tunnel out? Air saw?
Esta lindisimo
With regard to the oil pan, with the notched cross member do you have access to remove all the bolts IOT drop it? Or does the cross member get removed?
Did you sell the 65 fastback shell you did? Hope so, going to be a nice car at some point. Wish it was me.
Child’s play for you!
👍🏼👍🏼
Have you had an opportunity to do the Detroit Speed front suspension? I believe it takes a little modification to the front frame rails.
The bottom of the oil pan should be above the cross member because if you bottom out on something you don't want the object to puncture your oil pan. How about a deflector plate to help protect your oil pan?

Have you never seen the moroso oil pans back in the day?Hung a lot lower then that.
Howuch do you charge for a full restomod
Will the carpet for a 69 work now with the tunnel modifications you made?

Excellent question, but I wouldn't think so... not unless they added another 3 inches from the center line cross wise and a few extra for length. Me, I'd use the original for a template and do just that.
What K member you use for such build? May I know why you picked TKO instead of T56?

@@petersonrestorations I am thinking to install 2006 Lexus LS430 engine with T5 but I fear I need to fabricate a member for it or something. And don't know about this set up too.
what about the carpet fitment ?

Should still fit or need slight modifications under the dash
Would have been nice had you finished it to show how the tunnel was formed.
That sucks that the trans tunnel is too small.
Why not get a section of the firewall and floor from a late model mustang .

I'd have to buy that which I'd have to locate then ship or pickup. I can make something much quicker and cheaper.

@@petersonrestorations i used to live 60 mile north of there in a town called Northumberland, we since moved to the Myrtle Beach area. Nice videos.
Do you work along or is there employees in the background? Nice clean shop, proves you don't have to work in a shit hole to this kind of work.
Is that a used Coyote? Are they as plentiful as LS engines? Would it be sacrilegious to LS swap a Mustang? I guess in some peoples eyes?

There are plenty of them and many people have done ls swaps also
