Nice little bike. That was my first thought when I saw your first video. But I didn't say it cause I didn't want to insult you. But since you mentioned it,then I can too 😉 my first chopper was a 1971 tr 6 also but it was a digger style super long goose neck, girder front end, coffin tank. And fast as hell but only in a straight line. It did not corner well. Any way good video keep em comin

That’s so cool you also had a triumph chopper!! And no offense taken, i look like big bird on that little mini chopper!! Lol. That’s why i wanna build it to my liking. I like the stock with a hardtail look, when they’re hardtailed with the stock triumph fuel tank, with the knee pad rubbers on the sides. I might do that. Did you have a single carb set up or dual? Did you run a amal carb? Im thinking about getting original amals for it

@@SlickHeadCustomCycles mine was originly a single 650 but big bore to 750 duel carbs. Amal carbs. My mechanic who rebuilt it said it was basicly a drag bike engine. You literally had to give it a shot of starter fluid in each carb to start it every time. The cams were so lopey

Yeah dave, my mikuni carbs are just old they need to be replaced. That’s why they giving me trouble. The aluminum coating on the inside is peeling off of the side walls and getting into my jets. 👍🍺

Hey buddy nice little bike. May I give you some advice. When you kick the old girl thru keep your foot on the kicker so it doesn’t come back at you. That way you don’t get knee capped. I bet it runs awesome!! Good luck!!

Thank you for the advice, but if you notice in the video and I’ve said in my other videos, if you check them out on my channel that I have a broken right ankle and a ruptured Achilles tendon that I’m dealing with right now, that’s why you see me kicking it with my left leg, and it looks so goofy lol

The best way to kick a magneto bike is start the kick just over compression as you want the motor to spin.

Yes agreed. And keep in mind, my right achilles tendon was ruptured and ankle needed plates and screws and a surgery’s on done on both, back in November. I go to physical therapy 3 times a week for the achilles still. So with all that said, in the videos recently, if ya noticed im kicking with my left leg, and not my kicker leg. Its extremely awkward and clumsy for me. But i jus can’t stay away from my bikes!!! Lol
