The 1st car I ever rode in. My parents’ 1968 Newport custom 4 door dark blue

Etanol free fuel...it helps but is not required. Heads (valve seats) have not been reconditioned for leaded gas though.

Does this car have to be ran on ethanol free fuel? And is this a 383 or 440 also what type of exhaust setup do you have?

The Newport has a 383 cu in motor. It CAN run on unleaded gas, but it is not set up to run on unleaded gas (valve seats have not been hardened. The exhaust is dual from the manifolds back with an H pipe and Magnaflow mufflers.

She sounds great but why is it knocking when u drive?

Not knocking....that was a Harley from across the street that was leaving the intersection at the same time.

It has a 383 engine with a Holley Street Avenger 4 bbl 570 cfm. Exhaust is all custom, welded, with dual Magnsflow mufflers
