Yes. In the early 70's when the soap The Young & Restless came out, they had all that background music with harpsichord.

Now that is a car! My old man built those in lordstown in the late sixties. I was a little kid. But I remember those days so we'll. Loved it. This country was still tough as nails! I miss my old man alot. GM was run like the military back then. He was a line forman. At the plant 24-7. Everything they built was already sold! Then the bean counters came in the 70s. Hasn't been the same since.

These days the excitement of the fall introductions of past years is sadly gone. New automobile designs are now introduced at all times of the year. This commercial is classic because it captures late 1960's style so well...the latest big Chevrolet styling cues, contemporary exterior home design, and the expected beautiful woman model wearing the latest fashion, makeup, and hairstyle.

Good looking car....But that cheap ass belt line molding sucks.Always looked cheap....And it was standard on Impala....If you wanted a '68 full size Chevy without it you had to either downgrade to a Bel Air or Biscayne or upgrade to a Caprice.Bad decision on Chevys part.Otherwise good car.
