The rear quarter panel was patched by the previous owner and we are trying to do it better. But it's not going as planned...

make sure you are using non chlorinated brake cleaner or the gasses from heating it up welding can kill you . thanks for the vids im getting ramped up to work on my bug .

i have a youtube channel i've done a couple vids on it but it's on the back burner right now i have a 65 mustang that's ahead of it but there both slow going . 👍

Fitzee says cooling with air will cause the metal to "tuck in". Says patch must cool slowly on its own after each weld. kzread.info/dash/bejne/q6aO1bySYNSzm6Q.html

I just watched that video last night too. I'm definitely going to try slowing down and letting it cool on it's own. Thanks for the recommendation.
