What a beautiful Ford! On my I love that color and I love that interior. I just adore the fact it is restored with all nos parts! My lord even the old bias ply tires too it was just a car that took you right back to the 1966 Ford showroom it looked that new to me. That engine sound was just stupendous and that motor was just so clean you could eat off it it my my! I love that owner too he was really cool and loved to hear his input on his treasure. Thanks for sharing Lou!

Beautiful color combination, beautiful car! I watched this video on my tv, went back to regular tv when I was done and Garage Squad was on with a 1966 Fairlane. How's that for coincidence? 😄 I seem to be drawn to cars from my birth year or within that period. They were just used cars when I was a kid but I loved them. I can't decide if it's a blessing or curse being a car guy.

Beautiful car! Those were the days a lot of dealers would actually drill holes in the sides of new cars to Install those protective strips. I think they detract from the otherwise clean look but this was done all Of the time. In this case, they blend pretty well. I don’t think it came with a dual master cylinder in 1966 but I don’t think that was a bad modification. They became standard in 1967. Very unique and nice car!

Beautiful car. I owned a '66 Fairlane 500 390 4 speed bench seat in ember glow. I really wouldn't have put those aftermarket side moldings back on though. I always loved the smooth sides of the car and those moldings muck that up. Otherwise I love the car, especially in that color.

The only thing I would do to this car is jacked in the back, replace the wheels with Crager Mags. And an 8-Track with Aero Smith or Foghat 8 track plugged in. Other than that - its a perfect machine as is! Even just as is without my suggestion, this car rocks! And Dennis rocks! And of course, Lou - you always rock, buddy.
