1966 Batmobile Jada Hotwheels Comparison

Фильм және анимация

This is a comparison between JADA Toys 1:18 hollywood rides die-cast metal 80th year batman release and HOTWHEELS normal 1:18 die-cast metal replica.
We cannot compare the Hotwheels Elite version due to the price difference with Hotwheels being 2 to 3 times expensive than the Jada.

I love both of these but I loved my old corgi toy with the chain slasher activated by pressing down on the bat radar and the flame licking in and out of the turbine.

I had both but my house was burglarized on the 13th of April and my Hot Wheels was swiped so I bought this Jada for $54 new and I love it! As seen here, the Hot Wheels version is basically an immovable metal statue with little features to it, but the Jada? 😅Nice demo vid, thanks!

Back when they were new, I purchased the HWs standard, Elite, and Super-Elite, but returned the Super-Elite model. Side by side, they pretty much looked identical. The price increase for the SE covered a few small parts being metal instead of plastic, a stand made of metal, and a fancy box. The bodies were identical on all three versions from HWs, except the SE model had more defects, including rough edges on the front end on the one I received. Also, the special box was damaged by the fancy metal base poking through. So I sent the SE back. The JADA model is clearly a better value, as you indicate, and has more accurate details.

I would buy a Jada if the trim was hot red like every other make out there! If they can't get the main detail right then Im not going to buy. C'mon Hot Wheels! Make one with lights, sound & 14th scale.

The Jada wheels are too big for 1966 but look good for a more modern look. There is something about the Hot Wheels version that just looks more correct. I own both because I like the lights and detail on the Jada.

If only there was a way to put the HW wheels on the Jada, and have the Jada pinstripes by painted red (like it looked in the show) instead of orange, then it would be perfect.

Hot wheels looks more like the actual batmobile I've seen from photos and the car at Peterman museum in LA, however the Jada is appealing for the price point and the working lights. I really appreciate your video. Thanks!

I agree with you, but I still bought this one (even though I have and like the Hot Wheels elite better for the reasons you said), because none of the Hot Wheels version light up so beautifully like the Jada version does. In a perfect world, Hot Wheels will introduce a newer version that fixes all problems from their 1:18 Batmobiles (the biggest problem is that the Hot Wheels version forgot to paint the pinstripes over the Bat Rays), and adds working lights for the headlights, BatRays, tail lights, exhaust, and beacon, and on top of that, adds the sound of not only the nana nana nana Batman music, but Robin and Batman saying "Atomic batteries to power, turbine to speed...", and the exhaust lights up exactly as we hear the sound effect of the engine firing up! I'd pay $500 for such a model!

But the wrong color pinstripes by Jada makes the Hot Wheels the clear winner.

The 1966 Batmobile is one of the most famous cars so popular and cool… Have a good day thanks for the video

Enjoyed the comparison. I have the 1:24 Jada and that version is more visually accurate. I'm not sure why they would lean into more inaccurate for the 1:18 but, being in the market for that scale now, it makes me want to favor the HWE version.
