Great info. Just did this on my 62. Adjusting the shoes out at the end is very important. I had bled all the air out and pedal was still falling to firewall. slave cylinders have small amount of travel and is maximized when shoes are adjusted out. I adjust to where wheel does not spin freely, then back off just a click or two. Other indicator if they are out of adjustment is where the e brake engages. If it catches at the later/higher part, it might require adjusting, the lower it engages the closer the shoes are to the drum. It took few days as I became exhausted and frustrated at times, best to catch a break and not rush. Be thoughtful and methodical with pictures or video is a great idea.
